The ceremony took place on 1st April 2016, at 12.00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall AGH University of Science and Technology Cracow, av. A. Mickiewicza 30.

On April 1, 2016, the University of Sciences and Technology AGH (UST)  Cracow was solemnly presented the title of honorary-Doctor Honoris Causa for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Giang - senior researcher, Institute of Geophysics (IGP) in the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Giang is former student of Geophysics, graduated engineer - master system in 1974, Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental protection of AGH UST, Cracow. After graduating  he dedicated to do scientific research in the field of Geophysics and have had many valuable research published  articles of methodological and practical geophysics. Assoc. Professor is the author, coauthor of over 200 scientific works have been published in specialized national and international journals.
